Subaru has introduced its newest Ascent model, an excellent family SUV with three rows and superior performance embedded with breakthrough technology. The 2023 Subaru Ascent offers space for all your family members on every ride, whether for outdoor or long-haul trips.
The engineering team spared no effort in equipping this vehicle with technology and convenience inside and out. Learn more about the new Ascent’s design and features below.
The vehicle’s robust frame enables you to explore new roads and discover new adventures. It has an elevated ground clearance of 22cm and protective wrapping around the wheels. It comes with a standard 45cm wheel size and up to 20cm aluminum alloy wheels.
On top, you will find raised roof rails for extra cargo space and a spoiler on the back for improved aerodynamics. Also, the front is headed with a large winged grille and additional air sockets.
The 2023 Subaru Ascent has room for eight passengers in three rows, with spacious legroom and captain’s chairs in the first two rows. Passengers can utilize the third row, equipped with two extra seats on the sides and an extra-large rear opening for entry and exit.
The interior surface of the base model is wrapped in top-notch cloth with elegant stitches, while higher trims include surfaces and seats enveloped in leather or high-quality Nappa leather.
You can find advanced technology running through the vehicle, highlighted by the 29cm infotainment touch-screen, where you can control the climate, navigate with GPS, select your favourite music and much more.
There are USB cable outlets in the first and second rows for the base model, and in all three rows in the upper trims. Heated front seats are offered in all trims, while a heated steering wheel and second-row heated seats are available in selected trims.
The new Ascent has many safety systems, including a smart rearview mirror, reverse automatic braking, and pre-collision braking assist.
The smart rearview mirror improves your driving by broadcasting the built-in rear camera on the rear mirror itself.
The reverse automatic braking stops you from backing up if cameras detect an obstructing body in your path.
And the pre-collision braking assist uses EyeSight® technology and stops the vehicle if it detects something approaching fast and there’s a risk of an accident.
Additional features that promote safety include lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, high beam assist, and more.
A powerful 2.4L engine with the branded Subaru Boxer technology strengthens this vehicle, delivering up to 260 horsepower. The fuel consumption is estimated at 12.3L per 100km in the city and 9.4L per 100km on the highway.
There are also different driving modes powered by X-Mode technology available, making it easy to drive in snow, dirt, mud, or any other condition you might come across.
The 2023 Ascent includes seven trims, and the price of the base trim (Convenience) starts at $40,995. Plan your visit to Wolfe Langley and get a closer look at these models.
